Business Development Executive UK - Nutraceutical Contract Manufacturing
Package: £65,000 + commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, sports nutrition, and wellness markets.
- Build relationships with brand owners, retailers, distributors, and e-commerce businesses.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact through to quotation, negotiation, contract award, and product launch.
- Present contract manufacturing, formulation, packaging, and product development capabilities to prospective customers.
- Work closely with technical, formulation, quality, operations, and commercial teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Prepare proposals and quotations, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular pipeline and sales forecasts.
- Attend relevant industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to generate new opportunities.

Requirements:
- Proven business development or sales experience within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, consumer health, or contract manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of the nutraceutical and supplement market, including private-label and bespoke product development.
- Demonstrable success generating new business, managing a sales pipeline, and converting prospects into commercial customers.
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles from initial enquiry through to product launch.
- Existing relationships with nutraceutical, supplement, wellness, sports nutrition, consumer health, retail, or e-commerce brands are highly desirable.
- Commercially driven, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
