UKride Business Development Executive - London

UKride provides pre-booked transfers in London and across the whole UK, pre-booked airport transfers in London and across the whole UK, and chauffeur services in London. Our service is built for corporate clients, hotels, travel companies, event organisers, media companies, and any business that needs reliable, professional ground transport — booked in advance, every time. These are exactly the kinds of clients you will be bringing on board.

We are growing fast and looking for a driven Business Development Executive to lead our corporate client acquisition in London. You will be the face of the company on the ground — winning new business, building relationships, and delivering signed accounts that turn into long-term recurring revenue.

The role

This is a face-to-face, field-based sales role. You will spend the majority of your week out in London meeting prospective corporate clients — hotels, businesses, travel agencies, event companies, concierge services, and any organisation that requires pre-booked ground transport.

Your job is to identify the right companies, get in front of decision-makers, present our service, and close signed agreements that generate ongoing booking volume across our pre-booked transfers, airport transfers, and chauffeur services.

Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Location: London. Field-based with travel across the city.

What you will be doing

  • Identifying and prospecting target companies across London — hotels, corporates, travel agencies, event organisers, concierge firms, and similar.
  • Booking and attending a minimum of 15 face-to-face meetings per week with prospective clients.
  • Pitching our pre-booked transfers, airport transfers, and chauffeur services, and tailoring proposals to each client's needs.
  • Negotiating and closing signed corporate agreements.
  • Onboarding new accounts and ensuring their first bookings are smooth, so they keep coming back.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline and reporting weekly on activity, signings, and forecast volume.
  • Building long-term relationships with signed clients to grow their monthly booking volume over time.
  • Daily online catch-ups with your line manager and regular face-to-face meetings to review progress, pipeline, and priorities.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' B2B sales experience with a demonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding targets — this is mandatory.
  • Genuine confidence selling face-to-face — this is not a desk job.
  • Highly proactive and self-driven — you do not need to be micromanaged.
  • Consistent and disciplined — you can keep up high activity levels week after week.
  • Strong communicator with good business presence.
  • Comfortable working to clear KPIs and stretching performance targets.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • You must have your own laptop for daily work.
  • Familiarity with London geography and the corporate landscape is a strong plus.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus. The bonus is uncapped — the better you perform, the more you earn. We will discuss the full bonus structure at interview stage with shortlisted candidates.
  • Our structure is designed so that strong performers earn well, and top performers earn significantly more than market average for this role.
  • We don't measure activity — we measure results. The right candidate will see these targets as a baseline, not a ceiling. We are looking for someone who wants the bonus, not someone who wants the salary.

Terms

  • Full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday).
  • 3-month probation period
  • 1 week notice during probation; 1 month notice thereafter.
  • 20 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays off.
  • You must provide your own laptop for work.

Why join us

  • Genuinely uncapped bonus — your earnings grow as your portfolio grows.
  • A growing business with strong demand and a real product.
  • Autonomy — you manage your own diary and territory in the field.
  • Direct access to your line manager every day — you are supported, not left in the dark.
