Business Development Executive

East Anglia & London (with some national travel)

We are a well-established interior textiles business with a heritage spanning almost 80 years. Following significant investment and the introduction of new leadership, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and expansion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join our growing business at a pivotal time. The role would particularly suit a recent graduate with a passion for interiors, textiles, colour, and design who is looking to build a career within the furnishing fabrics industry.

Full product training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn and develop within a supportive and ambitious business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Support the development of new business opportunities across retailers, interior designers, and furniture/curtain and accessory manufacturers
  • Assist in presenting new fabric collections and product launches
  • Develop knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
  • Work closely with the wider team to support the company’s continued growth plans

About You

  • A passion for design, colour, interiors, and home furnishings
  • A degree in textiles, interior design, fashion, or another creative discipline would be advantageous
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Ideally located between London & East Anglia
