Business Development Executive
Do you enjoy speaking with people and have a passion for sales?
Then you've come to the right place.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play an important role in supporting the growth of our business in the German market. Working closely with our Business Development Manager, you will identify new business opportunities, engage with potential customers and help build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
This is a highly outbound-focused role. You will spend much of your time researching prospective customers, identifying relevant decision-makers, making outbound calls, qualifying opportunities and arranging meetings for our Business Development Manager.
The role is ideal for someone who is motivated by targets, enjoys speaking to people and wants to develop a career in B2B sales within an international organisation.
What You Can Expect
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the German market
- Research potential customers and relevant decision-makers
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Lead Forensics and other sales intelligence tools to identify prospects
- Make outbound calls and conduct cold outreach by phone, email and LinkedIn
- Qualify prospects and identify initial business needs
- Arrange qualified meetings and discovery calls for the Business Development Manager
- Support the BDM in developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Conduct structured follow-ups with prospects and dormant opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within the CRM
- Support inbound lead qualification when required, including during periods of holiday or absence within the German sales team
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and wider sales team to support new business growth
- Participate in training and development to build your sales skills and knowledge of the ISO industry

What You Bring To The Role
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- A genuine interest in sales, business development and customer communication
- Confidence speaking to people by phone, email and LinkedIn
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Resilience, determination and a positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- A willingness to learn and develop a career in B2B sales

A big plus if you have
- Previous experience in lead generation, business development or inside sales
- Call centre, telesales or other customer-facing experience
- Experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Experience working towards sales KPIs, targets or activity metrics
- Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools
- An interest in ISO standards, compliance or management systems
