Company Description

ROC Clinics UK is a private healthcare organisation with clinics in London and Aberdeen, providing rapid-access primary and secondary care, diagnostics, and treatment.

The clinic offers services across multiple specialties including gynecology, breast, paediatrics and imaging. In addition the clinic prides itself on a fast access GP service and a comprehensive UK wide Occupational Health service.

Role Description

We are recruiting for two Business Development roles, one focused on Occupational Health growth (full time) and one focused on Referrer Network Management (part-time).

Core Role Responsibilities for Referrer Network Management role (Part-Time)

  • Clinician and Clinics Engagement: Building great relationships with private and NHS GPs, allied practitioners and OH clinics, championing our consultants and services and turning conversations into confident referrals.
  • Educational Event Programs: Design and deliver a structured promotional and educational event calendar (both hybrid/online and in-person clinical evenings) featuring our clinicians and services.
  • Referral Pathway Optimization: Streamline communication channels so referring GPs, practice managers, and medical administrators can easily track patient pathways, obtain rapid diagnostic appointments, and expedite communication.
  • Data-Driven Targeting: Work strategically to target areas and referrers that have been identified as having high potential for incremental growth and track activity and results.

Core responsibilities for the Occupational Health Business Development role (Full Time)

  • B2B Pipeline Generation: Identify and prospect corporate employers, public sector bodies, and high-risk industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, transport) requiring mandatory health surveillance or other occupational/ corporate health services.
  • Corporate Account Acquisition: Lead the full sales cycle from initial cold outreach and discovery meetings to presenting formal commercial proposals for contracted Occ Health services.
  • Tender & Bid Management: Monitor public and private procurement portals (like Find a Tender or Contracts Finder) to write, assemble, and submit formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ITTs.
  • Service Launch & Mobilization: Partner with internal clinical operations teams to smoothly transition newly won corporate clients from the sales phase to live clinical service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of identifying and converting opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of Business and commercial principles, including sales pipelines, revenue growth, and customer value.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex healthcare services clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in Account Management, including maintaining long-term client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare, occupational health, or professional services business development is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software, and ability to analyse sales data and market information.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Typically holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
