About the Company:

A fast-growing software business operating in a specialist B2B niche, with a cloud-based platform used by mid-market and enterprise customers. Their technology helps customers manage important operational data and meet regulatory or compliance requirements more efficiently. They serve a growing customer base and have a strong reputation in their sector. With multiple office locations and strong growth momentum, they're now investing in a proactive, hunter mentality Business Development Executive to drive new logo acquisition and feed a high converting demo pipeline.

About the Role:

This is a new business hunting role, reporting into a Head of Sales, with clear ownership of pipeline generation and demo delivery. Their sales motion is built around face to face product demos, which convert at a notably high rate, so maximising face time with new prospects is the core focus of this role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
