About the job
We’re looking for a confident, people‑focused Business Development Executive to help us grow our customer base across the North of England. We’re a manufacturing company in the automotive equipment industry, and we need someone who enjoys getting out on the road, meeting customers, and spotting new opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
- Building relationships with new and existing customers across the region
- Visiting sites, understanding customer needs, and recommending the right products
- Keeping an eye out for new business opportunities and following up leads
- Giving product demos and explaining technical features in a clear, friendly way
- Working with our internal teams to make sure customers get what they need
- Keeping track of your pipeline, sales activity, and market trends
- Attending trade shows, events, and occasional company meetings

What we’re looking for
- Experience in business development, field sales, or account management
- Ideally some background in automotive, engineering, or manufacturing
- Someone who’s confident, organised, and happy working independently
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Comfortable learning technical products and explaining them simply
