Business Development Executive - Commercial Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance (Remote)
Company Description
Titan Facilities Services Ltd provides commercial cleaning, specialist domestic cleaning and grounds maintenance for businesses, estates, and public sector sites across Berkshire, Surrey, and the wider South East. The company serves higher education institutions, residential blocks and estates, and commercial offices, delivering services through trained and vetted staff with consistent quality control at every site. Clients benefit from clear accountability, including a dedicated point of contact and transparent reporting for each contract. As the client base expands, Titan has the capacity to support broader facilities needs beyond its core services, offering established service and dependable delivery.
Role Description
The Business Development Executive is a part-time, fully remote role (10-20 hours per week to start), with genuine scope to grow into a fuller commercial position as the pipeline builds. Reporting directly to the Director, this is an entrepreneurial opportunity within a fast-growing company, with thorough onboarding and regular check-ins to keep you supported. Hours are flexible and self-directed, built around your own prospecting activity rather than fixed hours.
You'll win new commercial contracts - cleaning and grounds maintenance for offices, schools, and commercial sites - through direct outreach, tendering, and networking, mostly virtual with occasional in-person meetings where it helps close a deal (mileage covered). Property managers and managing agents are a key channel, and you'll have a head start here with existing industry contacts from Titan's previous ownership to build from. Day-to-day, that means building and working a pipeline, preparing quotes and proposals, negotiating terms, and maintaining a steady flow of leads through to signed contracts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This role is new business focused - once a contract is won, it's handed to the operations team to manage day to day. We're looking for a self-starter who's comfortable building relationships from a cold start, takes ownership of their own pipeline, and is motivated by winning new business rather than managing it long-term.
Our Hiring Process
A quick, straightforward process: a short screening call, followed by a brief practical exercise, then a final interview with the Director. We aim to move quickly given the immediate start.
