Sales Development Executive

£30,000 Basic Salary + Bonus for Every Appointment Booked
York Office | Full Time | Monday to Friday

Looking for a sales role where your efforts make a real difference?

Britsafe is a well-established York-based business providing security, cleaning and hygiene services to organisations across the UK. We're looking for a motivated and organised Sales Development Executive to join our small, friendly team and help us continue to grow.

This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, is confident on the phone, and wants to develop a successful career in sales. Whether you've worked in sales support, customer service, administration, recruitment, telesales or a similar role, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll receive full support and training, but we do need someone who's happy to roll their sleeves up, get stuck in, and become an important part of our growing team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Researching businesses and identifying potential new customers.
  • Making outbound calls to introduce Britsafe and qualify opportunities.
  • Booking introductory appointments for our Sales Director.
  • Maintaining and updating our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Keeping prospect data accurate, organised and up to date.
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting with sales administration and lead management.
  • Contributing ideas to improve sales processes and customer engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
