Role Description
This full-time remote role as a Business Development Executive – Shocal London focuses on growing Shocal’s presence and partnerships across the London area. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and approaching potential local business partners, presenting Shocal’s value proposition, and managing the onboarding process for new merchants. The role involves maintaining regular contact with partners, gathering feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to improve performance and user experience. The position offers guaranteed hourly pay plus uncapped performance-based commission, with clear targets for outreach, business sign-ups, and revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in business development, sales outreach, and relationship building with local businesses.
- Experience in account management, partner support, and maintaining long-term commercial relationships.
- Ability to conduct market research, identify growth opportunities, and develop practical expansion strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort working remotely with self-motivation, time management, and goal-oriented focus.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, tech platforms, or local marketplace environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with mobile apps, e-commerce, or delivery services and the London market is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in business, marketing, or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory.
