A leading law firm is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its growing Business Development & Marketing team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the earlier stages of their career who wants to broaden their experience, take on more responsibility and work closely with senior BD and Marketing specialists. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where you’ll have exposure across the wider firm and the opportunity to really make the role your own.
The role
Working closely with the Business Development Manager and wider Marketing team, you’ll help drive business development activity across the firm, support client engagement and ensure opportunities are followed up effectively.
It’s a varied role where no two days will look exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the follow-up of events and webinars, ensuring leads and opportunities are captured and progressed
- Working with different teams across the firm to understand their BD priorities and coordinate activity
- Creating and maintaining sales and BD materials, including pitch decks, case studies and product sheets
- Supporting client communications and responding to product-related enquiries
- Keeping CRM records and BD information accurate and up to date
- Supporting pipeline tracking and reporting
- Helping prepare monthly updates on BD and sector activity
- Working closely with Marketing colleagues to ensure campaigns and activity support wider commercial objectives
- Building relationships with stakeholders across the firm and helping to drive actions following meetings

About you
You don’t necessarily need to come from a law firm. We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in developing their career within Business Development and Marketing.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Some experience within Business Development, Marketing or a similar commercially focused role
- Experience creating or updating sales and marketing collateral, such as pitch decks, case studies or product information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and the confidence to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and good proofreading skills
- Some exposure to CRM systems or document management tools
- Confidence working with data and using it to support reporting and track activity
- A proactive approach and the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
