Business Development Executive - Finance software, Business Automation and Security and Protection

We are hiring 3 roles, with focus in either Finance software, Business Automation and Security and Protection

Location: Hessle, East Yorkshire / Hybrid Working

Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance (Role Dependent)

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our sales team with ambitious and driven Business Development Executives across our Finance Software, Business Automation and Security & Protection divisions.

The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships and helping organisations solve business challenges through technology.

Working with senior decision-makers across Finance, Operations, IT and Facilities Management, you will identify customer needs, conduct discovery meetings and work collaboratively with technical specialists to deliver tailored solutions that provide measurable business value.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing opportunities and working within a consultative sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prospect and engage with potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and customer consultations.
  • Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals and business cases.
  • Work closely with technical consultants and solution specialists.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
  • Represent the business at networking events, exhibitions and customer meetings.

About You

You will be a proactive, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for developing new business and helping customers achieve their business objectives.

Essential Experience

  • Proven B2B sales experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
  • Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven.
  • CRM experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Business Automation, Workflow Solutions or Digital Transformation.
  • AI, Business Intelligence or Data Capture solutions.
  • Security technologies including CCTV, Access Control and Visitor Management.
  • SaaS, managed services or technology solution sales.
  • Experience working with Finance, IT, Operations or Facilities Management teams.
