Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for the OPC software portfolio and expand sales of product and services to existing customer base in UK & IRE
- Collaborate and execute targeted business development plans to identify, qualify, and progress high-value sales opportunities.
- Engage with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Digitalisation, and IT functions to understand business challenges and project requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with end users, system integrators, consultants, and technology partners to expand market presence and influence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to position and promote the value of Connectivity solutions.
- Conduct discovery meetings, solution discussions, and commercial engagements to progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Prepare and present professional quotations, proposals, and commercial recommendations in line with company policies and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Contribute to the achievement of Connectivity business objectives through consistent pipeline generation, opportunity conversion, and revenue growth.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in new business development, technical sales, inside sales, or a similar commercial role.
- Experience selling software, industrial automation, digitalisation, or technology solutions would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial communication technologies, OPC, SCADA, industrial networking, IT/OT convergence, or related technologies is desirable but not essential, as product training will be provided.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and developing opportunities.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
