ConnexAI is a leading global provider of AI powered Customer Engagement solutions that help businesses improve and simplify the way they interact with their customers on a daily basis. The business was established in 2013 and is now present on 5 continents with a team of over 600 employees globally. Our current office locations are UK (Spinningfields, Manchester), USA, Australia, Spain, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.
What We Do:
Customer Engagement: We provide AI platforms that help businesses adapt to each customer's communication preferences - the ConnexAI system allows customer interactions over the phone (inbound or outbound voice), live chat, SMS, or social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Messenger). This platform can be operated by both AI-based and human customer facing representatives.
The Role:
The Business Development Executive role is an opportunity to join our rapidly expanding and fast paced team in the heart of Manchester's Spinningfields area, selling the ConnexAI product across the UK, Europe and beyond. We're looking for sales people that are target driven, motivated to succeed, and most importantly eager to learn and develop a successful career in the world of software sales!

Main Responsibilities:
- Outbound Outreach: To potential customers - via phone calls, LinkedIn, email and other outbound demand generation tools we utilise in order to develop a strong pipeline.
- Opportunity Qualification: Uncovering and understanding customer pains and challenges with the view explaining how we can address those business challenges
- Achieving Set Targets: Work to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals through demand and lead generation - based on the number of meetings booked with decision makers
- Relationship Building and Management: Engaging with decision makers at all levels and targeting businesses across various industries

Competencies, Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous outbound sales experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of software sales would be another advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary (£30,000 basic + OTE)
- Uncapped commission: Booked appointments and deal based recurring commission
- Generous target driven bonuses
- Team based target driven incentives
- Competitive Annual Leave (plus all UK public holidays on top) & Pension Contribution
- This is a 100% office-based role and we aren't offering any visa sponsorship at this stage.
