Kepak is a leading food company with manufacturing sites across Ireland and the UK. The Group operates across three divisions: the Foods Division, Meat Division UK, and Meat Division Ireland. Kepak Foods Division is a key growth engine within the Group, focused on delivering branded and value-added products across chilled convenience, ambient and frozen categories. Operating across the UK, Ireland and selected European markets, the Division serves both retail and foodservice customers through a strong portfolio of innovative brands and customer-led solutions from our manufacturing facilities.

At Kepak, we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Executives to drive distribution, visibility, and profitable sales growth across buying groups, wholesalers, cash & carry depots, and regional customers throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in expanding our market presence while working with some of the most recognised brands in the category.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Business Development Executive, you'll be the face of Kepak in the market, developing strong customer partnerships and turning opportunities into long-term growth.

Drive Customer Growth
- Build and strengthen relationships with buying groups, depots, branches, and regional customers.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
- Expand distribution across existing and prospective customers.

Increase Distribution & Product Availability
- Deliver agreed distribution, listing, and outlet coverage targets.
- Secure listings and increase availability of priority product ranges.
- Support successful product launches and promotional activity.

Execute Best-in-Class Activation
- Bring customer plans to life through effective in-market execution.
- Deliver depot days, customer engagement events, and activation programmes.
- Support NPD launches and key commercial campaigns.

Deliver Commercial Success
- Achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets.
- Maximise the return on promotional and activation investments.

Be the Voice of the Market
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, ranging, and promotions.
- Share customer insights and market intelligence with the wider commercial team.

Collaborate Across the Business
- Partner closely with National Account Managers, Marketing, Category, and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements

- Third-level qualification or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.
- 3+ years experience in FMCG sales, field sales, wholesale, convenience or customer-facing commercial roles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver sales growth, distribution gains and customer development objectives.
- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
- Experience managing territory plans, call cycles and opportunity pipelines.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of sales fundamentals.
- Ability to analyse performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, resilient and able to operate independently within a field-based environment.
