About BCD

BCD is a component distributor operating in the wireless, single-board computer (SBC), and embedded processing markets. We work with a range of leading global technology brands including Qualcomm and Raspberry Pi to supply components and solutions to engineers and businesses developing connected and embedded products. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Basingstoke and help drive new business across our target markets.

Role Overview

As Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and growing customer relationships across the wireless, SBC, and embedded processing sectors. This is predominantly an office-based role from our Basingstoke HQ, with regular travel to visit customers and build face-to-face relationships. You'll manage the sales process end to end, from prospecting and quoting through to order fulfilment and account growth supported by an uncapped commission structure that rewards results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
