Reporting To: Senior Business Development Associate / Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in business development, including market expansion, strategic partnerships, research, client acquisition, product positioning, and operational analysis. The role is designed to offer practical learning in a professional environment and complies with relevant labor laws, including Sections 44-47 of the UK National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and the US Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and assist the business development team in:

  • Market Research & Opportunity Mapping, identifying potential clients, partners, and emerging market opportunities across multiple sectors.
  • Partnership Development, supporting outreach to strategic partners, maintaining partner pipelines, and assisting with introductory communications.
  • Client Acquisition Support, helping evaluate prospective clients, preparing outreach materials, and contributing to engagement strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis, conducting research on competitors, benchmarking offerings, and identifying differentiators for positioning strategies.
  • Pitch Decks & Business Proposals, assisting in the preparation of partnership proposals, sales decks, and client presentations.
  • Product & Service Positioning, supporting the development of value propositions, service packages, and go-to-market messaging.
  • Operational Process Support, documenting workflows, improving internal processes, and contributing to organizational efficiency.
  • Administrative & Coordination Support, organizing meetings, maintaining CRM entries, and supporting reporting requirements for business development activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in business development, sales strategy, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive learning attitude.
