What this is
KalpSetu is a trade intelligence platform for Indian exporters. The product is live, the company is DPIIT recognised, and twenty-eight automated data pipelines run every day. We have no paying customers yet. You would be the first person other than the founder doing outreach.
What you would actually do
You find and contact people who trade agricultural commodities out of India. Exporters, trading houses, commission agents, procurement heads. You research them, you find a real decision maker and a working phone or email, you reach out, and you book a meeting.
You do not sell. You do not quote prices or negotiate. The founder takes every meeting and closes it. Your job ends at a booked meeting with the right person, which is a real skill and the whole reason this role exists.
What you get paid
Three parts, and all three are exact:
- ₹2,000 a month, provided you hit the activity bar below. This is an operating floor, not a salary. Be clear with yourself about that before applying.
- ₹750 for every qualified meeting that actually happens, up to 8 a month. Qualified means decision level, in our market, and they turned up.
- A share of every rupee we collect from any account you brought, for twelve months. Not a bounty on an introduction. You are paid the month after we are paid, and it keeps coming for as long as that customer stays. The rates and a calculator are at kalpsetu.co.in/partners

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

The monthly bar for the stipend
80 records enriched in our CRM with a verified decision maker and a working email or phone, plus 40 outbound messages sent. Roughly four records and two messages per working day. Everything is logged in the CRM, so it is checked by a query and never by argument.
The engagement runs month to month and renews on that bar. We would rather tell you the standard up front than let you find out at the end of a month.

Who this suits
Someone who wants to learn how export trade actually works from the inside, who is comfortable writing to strangers, and who would rather be measured than managed. Prior sales experience is not required. Being organised is.
An interest in agriculture, commodities or international trade will make this far more interesting for you than it otherwise would be.
Who this does not suit
Anyone who needs a predictable monthly income. The stipend is small on purpose, the commission is where the money is, and commission takes time to arrive. If you need reliable pay this month, this is the wrong role and we would rather you knew now.
How to apply
Apply here on LinkedIn, or directly at kalpsetu.co.in/jobs. Either reaches the same person. Tell us who you would contact first and why. That answer matters more than your CV.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
