The Role
The Business Development Key Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Avonmouth. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing and growing strategic key accounts, and driving revenue across OpalTec’s enterprise mobility solutions portfolio. - Prospecting and lead generation
- Conducting client meetings and product presentations
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Negotiating commercial terms
- Maintaining regular communication with existing customers
- Understanding their operational needs
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery
- Tracking performance against sales targets

The Business Development Key Account Manager is expected to:
- Build long-term relationships
- Represent the company at industry events when required
- Provide accurate reporting and forecasts to management
Qualifications
- Strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities
- Solid Key Account Management skills to grow and retain strategic customers
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within technology, enterprise mobility, or related industries
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable with CRM tools (ideally Microsoft Dynamics), Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting
- Valid right to work in the UK and a full driving license are essential
- Relevant education in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
