Business Development Lead – Air Conditioning Services
Location: Gateshead
Remuneration: Salary negotiable on experience, car allowance, mileage, expenses, and pension.
About Us
We're a well-established air conditioning specialist providing installation, servicing, and maintenance to businesses across the northeast and further afield.
The Role
Your role will focus on new business growth, with a focus on winning planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts and generating new installation and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new commercial customers for maintenance contracts, including offices, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, data centres, and the public sector.
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, networking, site visits, referrals, and LinkedIn.
- Arrange site surveys with our technical team, then prepare and present clear, competitive quotes and proposals.
- Build relationships with facilities managers, property managers, M&E contractors, and consultants.
- Work closely with operations and engineering staff.

About You
- Confident in outreach to new and potential customers.
- Good communicator who can explain our services and expertise to customers.
- Organised and self-motivated.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Some experience in HVAC, building services, or facilities management.
- Enthusiasm and a drive to learn.
- Willingness to undertake training in our field if necessary.
