Role Description
The Business Development Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in London. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth across key life sciences segments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, generating and nurturing leads, preparing proposals and presentations, and engaging with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and align Insilicare’s solutions. The role also involves collaborating with product, marketing, and customer success teams to refine value propositions and support go-to-market strategies. The Business Development Lead will track performance metrics, report on progress to leadership, and contribute to strategic planning and partnership development.

Qualifications

- Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to understand client needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends in life sciences and healthcare data.
- Excellent Communication skills to present complex solutions clearly, build client relationships, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing the sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets.
- Solid Customer Service skills to ensure a positive client experience, respond to inquiries, and support long-term partnerships.
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management within life sciences, healthcare, health tech, or data/analytics is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, close deals, and work toward measurable commercial goals is preferred.
- Comfort working with data-driven products; familiarity with real-world evidence, healthcare analytics, or related domains is an advantage.
- Keen interest in AI and ML use cases within the healthcare sector is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is desirable.
