Business Development Leader, Buy-Side (Financial Data) | £125,000 - £150,000 + Uncapped Commission | London

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Leader to build a new buy-side client base for a growing financial-data business. You’ll win and grow relationships with asset and investment managers, taking complex data-solution sales from first conversation through to signed contract.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and owning a targeted pipeline of asset managers and investment managers.
  • Opening senior-level relationships through cold outreach, networking, industry events, and existing contacts.
  • Leading complex enterprise sales processes end-to-end and working internally to structure and close deals.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven business development experience selling financial-data, technology, or SaaS solutions into financial markets.
  • Experience selling into the buy side, sell side, or wider capital-markets community.
  • A self-starter with a track record of building new pipelines and managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
