Business Development Leader - Drug Delivery

An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Leader with expertise in drug delivery, to seek out and grow new relationships, build collaborations and deliver meaningful programmes of work for clients and patients alike.

About Team Consulting

Team Consulting is a global leader in medical device innovation, with a forty-year reputation in drug delivery. We combine technical excellence and deep market insight with pragmatic, commercially grounded mindsets. Our work spans injectable and respiratory devices and combination products, extending more recently into areas such as digital health and advanced therapies. We support leading pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers and ambitious innovators worldwide.

As our Drug Delivery sector continues to grow, we’re looking for a Business Development Leader to help expand our client network, strengthen strategic partnerships and shape how we engage the market in existing and new, developing sectors.

This is a role for someone who is technically credible, commercially driven, and genuinely motivated by building relationships around complex, high-value product development programmes.

What you’ll do

  • Create, build and develop long-term relationships with clients in the drug delivery sector
  • Own and grow key client accounts, as a trusted commercial and technical partner
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles for high-value development programmes, from early conversations through to proposal and contract
  • Work closely with Team’s multi-disciplinary consulting groups to shape robust, compelling service offerings
  • Represent Team and drive thought leadership, through conferences, publications and industry forums
  • Bring market insight into the business to help shape future capability and strategy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
