The Role
The Software Specialist Sales Manager (partner focus) focuses on 2 main activities:
Global MSI & ISV Account Development (Business Development role)
- Define, develop, and execute Schneider Electric's commercial strategy towards selected Master System Integrators (MSIs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) globally.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic partnerships with the most relevant MSI and ISV organizations to accelerate Schneider Electric growth, software adoption, and ecosystem expansion.
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with global MSI and ISV organizations, ensuring alignment between Schneider Electric business priorities and partner growth strategies.
Global Community Animation & Channel Growth
- Animate and lead the worldwide network of Schneider Electric sales teams involved with MSI and ISV partners.
- Ensure consistent execution of the commercial strategy across countries and zones.
- Support countries in developing relationships with local MSI entities and local ISVs while maximizing business opportunity identification and conversion.
You will be a highly motivated sales professional capable of building long-term business partnerships and driving revenue growth through ecosystem development.
You will combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities, leveraging Schneider Electric's portfolio to create differentiated value propositions for MSI and ISV partners.
The role requires strong leadership without authority, the ability to influence multiple stakeholders internally and externally, and a passion for developing new routes to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize the MSI and ISV accounts with the highest growth potential, aligned with Schneider Electric’s strategic objectives.
- Define and execute a 3–5-year growth strategy, including account plans, value propositions, growth targets, and engagement models.
- Establish account segmentation, coverage, and governance frameworks.
- Build executive relationships with key MSI and ISV decision-makers and develop strategic partnership agreements.
- Drive joint business development, co-selling initiatives, and promotion of Schneider Electric’s software, digital, energy management, and building automation solutions.
- Grow pipeline, revenue, and business performance through partner-led opportunities.
- Develop expertise in MSI and ISV business models, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Translate market opportunities into commercial initiatives and scalable engagement models.
- Coordinate execution across Divisions, Strategy, Marketing, and Country Sales teams.
- Lead a global community of sales leaders and account managers focused on MSI and ISV ecosystems.
- Establish operating rhythms, business reviews, and best-practice sharing across regions.
- Support and coach country teams while ensuring alignment between global strategy and local execution.
- Define and manage order, sales, pipeline, and growth targets for MSI and ISV channels.
- Monitor performance, forecasts, opportunities, and stakeholder engagement globally.
- Deliver regular business reviews and executive reporting on commercial results and strategic progress.

- Strong sales and business development capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage executive-level customer and partner relationships.
- Experience developing commercial strategies and translating them into measurable business results.

For this UK based position, the expected pay range is GBP 110,400 - GBP 165,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United Kingdom. Our pay ranges are determined by the local market.
