Business Development Manager
Birmingham / Hybrid | Full-Time
£30,000-£35,000 per annum plus uncapped commission
Are you a driven B2B sales professional who loves winning new business and wants an opportunity where your earning potential really is uncapped? Are you confident picking up the phone, building relationships and turning conversations into commercial opportunities?
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a fast-paced, growth-focused IT Value Added Distributor.
This is a true new business role where you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and converting opportunities into revenue. However, you won’t be starting from scratch. You’ll have access to existing data and accounts with untapped potential, giving you plenty of opportunity to re-engage customers, build new relationships and uncover where the business can add value.
Alongside this, you’ll have the freedom to identify and develop completely new opportunities within the IT channel (Mostly IT Managed Service Providers and IT Resellers)
With uncapped commission and significant earning potential, high performers have the opportunity to earn six figures if you have the drive, determination and commercial ability to succeed.
Whether you already have experience within the IT channel or come from another B2B sales environment, if you’re hungry for new business, commercially minded and confident developing relationships from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
