Moto Halo — Business Development Manager

Moto Halo is a UK-based motorcycle and motorhome tracking business. We're part of a group that also includes Fleetsmart (UK fleet telematics) and Fleeteye (Canadian fleet telematics), and we're investing in the dealer channel as our route to scale. We're looking for the person who'll own it.

The role

You'll build and run Moto Halo's dealer sales channel across the UK—motorcycle and motorhome dealers—and lead our commercial presence at BSB rounds and the key industry shows. You'll work directly with CEO on strategy, with the Ops Director on operational support, and with The Marketing Manager on social and event content. Small team, direct access, no committee.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and managing relationships with priority motorcycle and motorhome dealers across the UK
  • Leading Moto Halo's commercial presence at BSB rounds and the major industry shows
  • Running a structured outreach process—target list, multi-channel contact, planned site visits—rather than relying on cold door-knocking
  • Owning the dealer pipeline end to end: sourcing, qualifying, closing, account management
  • Bringing intelligence back from the road that helps us shape channel and product strategy
  • Identifying and surfacing adjacent opportunities (insurance, motorcycle clubs, fleet/business) where you encounter them

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

  • B2B sales experience in a territory or channel role with a structured pipeline (not pure account management or order-taking)
  • Comfort with multi-channel selling—phone, email, video and in-person work combined into a single deal flow
  • The kind of person who plans their own week and is accountable for the outcome
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable in a CRM
  • Strongly preferred: existing relationships with motorcycle or motorhome dealers in the UK, and/or BSB paddock credibility
