TERRITORY SALES MANAGER – DENTAL TECHNOLOGY | UK & IRELAND
Progress Recruitment is currently working with a leading global dental technology business to recruit an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK & Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to take ownership of sales and relationships within the dental imaging / medical device sector, developing distributor partnerships while also engaging directly with dental practices and clinical customers.

Base
- New Malden, London – OFFICE ATTENDANCE MOST DAYS with travel to customer sites and exhibitions (UK and International) on occasion. This is predominantly an office-based role…
Package
- Salary: £33,000 – £48,000 DOE
- Commission: £5,000 – £10,000
- Car Allowance: £4,800
- Meal Allowance: £3,900
- Permanent | Full-time
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will play a key role in growing revenue and market share across the territory.
A major focus of the position will be dealer and distributor development – building strong commercial relationships, providing product and sales training, conducting joint customer visits and helping partners maximize opportunities.
You will also have the opportunity to work directly with dental practices, managing opportunities from initial lead through to demonstration, evaluation, presentation, and close.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across the UK & Ireland
- Grow revenue, market share, and customer penetration
- Identify, onboard, and develop distributor/channel partners
- Deliver product and sales training to distributor teams
- Conduct joint sales visits and customer meetings
- Manage opportunities from lead generation through to close
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, trials, and customer training
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales Operations
- Support national campaigns, events, and customer programmes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're interested in speaking with sales professionals who can demonstrate:
- 3–5 years' successful sales (internal or external) experience, ideally within dental, medical devices, or capital equipment
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing distributors, dealers, or channel partners
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting and demonstrating products to both clinical and executive audiences
- Excellent communication, organization, and commercial skills
- Experience using CRM systems and a data-driven approach to territory planning
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively

PARTICULARLY INTERESTING
Experience or knowledge of dental imaging, including CBCT, panoramic, or intraoral systems, would be highly advantageous, as would an understanding of the UK & Ireland dental dealer landscape.
