If you’re an experienced Apprenticeship BDM who can win new levy business but would also quite like to join a provider where you’re not starting with a completely blank piece of paper, this could be a really good move.

You’ll be joining an established national training provider with over 22 years’ experience, 500+ employees and a strong reputation for quality, rated Ofsted Good with Outstanding judgements in Adult Learning and Behaviours & Attitudes.

They’ve already built relationships with some major national levy-paying employers, including household-name retailers such as B&Q, Iceland and Matalan, giving you a good indication of the calibre of employer partnerships they’re already successfully delivering.

The Opportunity

This is a business development role, so you’ll need to be comfortable generating your own opportunities, prospecting into new levy-paying employers and winning new business. You won’t be starting with a completely blank desk, though. You’ll inherit some existing business and employer relationships, particularly within retail, giving you a foundation to build from while you develop and grow the desk through your own new business activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
