Business Development Manager - London (hybrid working)
Commercial, Residential, & Industrial scale Solar & BESS projects
Salary Range: £70,000 - 80,000 DOE + wider benefits & package
Piper Maddox are exclusively supporting a leading name in the London property market in their growth plans for a new venture into the renewable energy sector. Having brought on technical expertise already, the next step is to add an experienced Business Development professional to the team to further expand their portfolio.
They are currently in the process of installing commercial, industrial, and residential Solar and BESS solutions across their existing property portfolio and are now looking to provide these to other developers, investors, and 3rd parties. This role will include a mixture of existing warm relationships as well as new outreach.

Responsibilities
In this role, you would be responsible for originating these new opportunities from inception through to contract signature. This would include covering matters with prospective clients such as:
- An understanding of the technology, the investment case, as well as discussions around project feasibility.
- Relevant financial benefits to the client such as tax benefits, ROI, and financial returns.
- Queries around asset maintenance, environmental performance, as well as property value impacts.
- Discussions around initial capital investments, energy trading, and PPA structures for the energy offtake agreements.
