Snap-O-Matic Photobooths | Braintree, Essex (field-based, UK-wide) | Full-time, permanent
About us
Snap-O-Matic has been designing, building and operating photobooths for over a decade, with everything manufactured in-house in the UK and running on our own software platform. Our booths go into pubs, bars, clubs and leisure venues at no upfront cost on a revenue-share basis, with us handling installation, maintenance and print media. We're now in over 300 UK venues, work with some of the country's biggest pub groups, and operate partner businesses in Ibiza and Australia.
We're growing, and we need someone to lead the charge on new business.
The role
This is a genuinely field-based sales role. You'll spend most of your week out on the road: walking into venues, meeting operators, attending trade and networking events, and chasing leads until they become signed sites. Expect regular travel across the UK, including frequent overnight stays. If you want a desk job, this isn't it. If you'd rather be out meeting people than sitting behind a screen, it might be exactly what you're looking for. You'll report directly to the Director and have real influence over how we grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll be doing
- Finding and winning new venue placements on revenue-share and rental agreements
- Targeting multi-site operators and pub/bar groups, where one relationship can unlock many venues
- Cold calling in person at venues, as well as by phone and email
- Representing Snap-O-Matic at networking events, trade shows and industry meetups
- Building and managing your own pipeline, from first conversation to signed agreement
- Preparing proposals and negotiating terms
- Handing signed sites smoothly over to our installation and operations teams
- Feeding back what you're hearing in the market to help shape our products and offering
We care about quality over volume. Strong, well-trading sites and long-term group partnerships matter more to us than a long list of small wins.
Looking ahead

- Confidence walking into a venue unannounced and starting a conversation
