Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team to develop and grow our client base within the Scotland region. As a well-established Scotland founded soft FM provider with a large team operating out of our Cumbernauld and Aberdeen offices and an impressive customer portfolio, there is a huge opportunity to expand our Scotland presence.

As an experienced sales professional, you must be confident in generating new leads and taking them through the full business development cycle to sale developing mutually beneficial relationships with new clients. You must also be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achievement and will have strong Industry experience.

The successful candidate will report into the board of directors for regular review and performance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-target monthly sales in line with the strategic guidelines set out by the board
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities from lead generation to close
  • Utilize product and sales training to maximize understanding of products, features, and value propositions
  • Handling incoming new business leads
  • Create and maintain a target list of potential customers and execute a sales strategy for these contracts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities, including leads, opportunities, and client interactions through our CRM system (hubspot)
  • Actively promoting our range of services to the target audience
  • Conducting market research and analysis
  • Carrying out face-to-face proposals and presentations with potential clients
  • Being the public face of Andron Facilities Management to all potential customers
  • Support pitches where relevant / appropriate
  • Attend industry networking events to generate new leads

What Are We Looking For?

  • Experienced business development manager with proven track record
  • Direct sales experience of FM services within the private commercial sector
  • Strong understanding of the industry and Scotland marketplace
  • Bring their own network of potential contacts and clients
  • Commitment and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional and clear communication skills coupled with the ability to network at a high level and build strong business relationships (internally and externally)

Hours

Full Time

Salary

£45,000-£55,000 basic salary, dependent on experience, in addition to competitive uncapped commission scheme and benefits package. Expected earnings when hitting target are between £60,000-£70,000 per annum.
