🚀 Business Development Manager – Warehouse Storage Solutions

UK-wide | Ideally Midlands-based
£50,000–£55,000 + £5,000 car allowance + Uncapped commission

Are you a natural hunter who thrives on opening new markets, spotting untapped potential, and turning unused warehouse space into revenue? We’re hiring a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of a national warehouse storage solutions offering.

This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities from scratch, building relationships across diverse industries, and converting capacity into profitable long-term contracts.

🔍 What you’ll be doing

  • Drive new revenue by selling storage capacity across a national network of facilities:
  • Identifying and securing new storage opportunities across sectors including retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, logistics and more.
  • Generating leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, marketing campaigns and industry events.
  • Building relationships with senior decision-makers, Operations Directors, Supply Chain Managers, Procurement Leaders, and Business Owners.
  • Understanding customer storage volumes, handling needs, access requirements, and service expectations.
  • Working closely with warehouse managers to match customer requirements with available capacity and maximize utilization.
  • Presenting proposals, pricing, and service agreements, and closing profitable commercial deals.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and emerging market trends to shape future service offerings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
