We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager who can identify new opportunities, build valuable partnerships and turn growth plans into results.
Spice Village is an established hospitality group spanning restaurants, catering and events, with a strong heritage in South Asian cuisine. From restaurant dining to weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations, we bring people together through food and hospitality.
About the Role
Working closely with the Director, you’ll support the group’s commercial growth, explore new markets and develop partnerships across our restaurant, catering and events businesses.
A key focus will be assessing opportunities for UK and international expansion, including new locations, catering operations and growth through local partnerships. You’ll research market demand, identify suitable partners and develop business proposals to support investment and expansion decisions.
You’ll also work with our marketing and operational teams to turn brand visibility, digital activity and industry relationships into enquiries, bookings and sustainable revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
