Business Development Manager London - 3 days a week in office two days at home £42,000–£45,000 + £15,000 OTE first year (uncapped)

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established organisation providing business solutions to customers across sectors including Financial Services, Technology, Retail, Healthcare, Government, Professional Services and Manufacturing.

About the Role

This is a new business focused sales role, responsible for identifying, developing and closing new opportunities with prospective customers.

  • You’ll be expected to build your own pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and targeted prospecting, engaging senior decision makers and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, networking and referrals.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.
  • Identify and target key organisations and decision-makers within your market.
  • Engage senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Lead customer meetings and deliver tailored presentations and proposals.
  • Build a strong professional presence through LinkedIn and other networking channels.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and activity levels through CRM.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop the right solutions for prospective customers.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B new business sales, whether within SaaS, recruitment, technology, professional services or another target driven environment.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident generating your own opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle and closing new business.
  • Comfortable engaging and building credibility with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Experience using CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline and activity.
