Business Development Manager - Security Services
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Typical Hours: 09:00-17:00 (or as required to meet business needs)
Contract Type: Full Time

Kingdom is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Security Services division.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales professional with experience winning new business, developing client relationships and securing profitable contracts. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing the sales process from initial contact through to contract award, and helping grow our presence across commercial, public sector and facilities management markets.

What You'll Be Doing
Business Development
- Identifying and securing new security guarding contracts
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of sales opportunities
- Generating leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn and proactive prospecting
- Responding to tender opportunities and commercial frameworks
- Developing opportunities within existing customer accounts
Relationship Management
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Developing long-term partnerships with clients
- Delivering presentations, proposals and sales pitches
- Representing Kingdom professionally at all times

Commercial Growth
- Creating tailored security solutions for prospective clients
- Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Negotiating commercial agreements and contract terms
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability
Collaboration
- Working closely with Operations, Mobilisation, Compliance and Bid teams
- Supporting successful contract mobilisation and implementation
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with company and industry requirements
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in a business development or sales role
- Previous experience working within the security industry is essential
- Proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
- Experience selling services into commercial, public sector, facilities management, manufacturing or logistics sectors
- Experience managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- SIA Front-Line or Non-Front-Line Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and reference checks

- Skilled in CRM and pipeline management
- Experienced using LinkedIn and digital sales techniques
- A strong team player who works effectively across departments
Desirable Industry Knowledge
- Security guarding services
- SIA regulations and industry standards
- ACS and BS7499 requirements
- TUPE and contract mobilisation processes
- HubSpot or similar CRM systems
- Microsoft Office applications
