Business Development Manager

Home Instead Hammersmith & Chiswick
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year
Full-time | Field based across West London

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can build a strong local referral pipeline and generate measurable growth for a leading home care provider.

This is not a general marketing, communications or account management role. It is a commercially focused position for someone who has personally generated new business, developed high-value partnerships and can demonstrate the results they have delivered.

The role

You will take ownership of business development activity across Chiswick, Hammersmith, Fulham, and surrounding areas. Working closely with the Director and senior leadership team, you will:

  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of private care enquiries
  • Develop referral relationships with hospitals, GPs, social workers, charities, community groups, and local professionals
  • Identify and pursue new partnership and lead-generation opportunities
  • Represent Home Instead at meetings, events, and community activities
  • Plan and deliver targeted local campaigns
  • Track activity, enquiries, conversions, and revenue generated
  • Produce and execute a clear 30, 60, and 90-day growth plan
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure new clients are suitable and can be supported effectively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within home care, healthcare, private healthcare, retirement living, professional services, or another relationship-led sector would be particularly valuable. Knowledge of West London and an existing local professional network would be a strong advantage.
