About the Company
UKR GROUP is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our construction recruitment division.
About the Role
This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and opening doors with contractors across the construction industry. You'll be responsible for developing your own portfolio of clients and generating new recruitment opportunities for our delivery team. If you're a confident salesperson who thrives on targets, enjoys speaking to decision-makers, and has a proven track record of winning new business, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the construction sector
- Build relationships with contractors, developers, subcontractors, and consultants
- Identify hiring opportunities and secure recruitment agreements
- Arrange and attend client meetings (in person and virtually)
- Negotiate commercial terms and maximise revenue opportunities
- Work closely with our recruitment consultants to ensure a smooth handover of vacancies
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to identify further opportunities
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets
- Keep CRM systems updated with client activity and pipeline information

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' business development or recruitment experience
- Previous experience within construction recruitment required
Required Skills
- Demonstrable track record of billing consistently and developing your own client base.
- Experience winning new clients and developing business relationships
- Proven ability to develop and grow a profitable client portfolio.
- Construction sector experience preferred
- Strong track record in 360 recruitment and billings
- Confident business developer – comfortable picking up the phone and winning new clients
- Demonstrable ability to fill roles quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, target-driven, and self-motivated
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and MS Office
