Business Development Manager – B2B SaaS / Assistive Technology
Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Salary: Competitive
About Our Client
We are partnering with an award-winning UK assistive technology scaleup dedicated to creating software that makes workplace and educational environments accessible to neurodivergent and disabled individuals. Having established a strong foundation across higher education and disability support frameworks, the business is now aggressively expanding its B2B footprint across enterprise corporations, local government, healthcare, legal, and financial services. They build innovative, AI-powered communication, captioning, and productivity tools that help organisations build genuinely inclusive work cultures while meeting modern accessibility standards.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's next phase of B2B commercial growth. Rather than being constrained by geography, you will take ownership of specific industry verticals, identifying opportunities, building a qualified pipeline, and closing net-new B2B and public sector accounts. This is a high-visibility position ideal for an ambitious seller who thrives in a fast-paced scaleup environment and enjoys taking ownership of the full sales lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
