At Stewart Title, we’re transforming the property buying experience. As one of the world’s leading title insurers, we are known for expert service, innovative solutions and have been assisting the UK property market for over 30 years. Use of our online platform, Stewart Solution, has grown by 20% in the last 12 months and we are now adding to our Business Development team to meet our aggressive growth plans throughout the UK.
We’re seeking collaborative, relationship-focused Business Development Representatives who thrive on creating opportunities, building trusted partnerships, and shaping long-term success across residential and commercial sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to support our continued growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with law firms, search companies, conveyancers, developers, lenders, and other stakeholders across the conveyancing industry.
- Confidently prospect new clients and generate qualified opportunities.
- Present Stewart’s products—virtually and in person—with clarity and confidence.
- Schedule and attend regular in-office client visits.
- Represent Stewart at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Deliver quotes, respond to client enquiries, and manage key client accounts with care.
- Track and report BD activity, meet achievable sales targets, and share progress with the team.
- Identify regional trends, gather insights, and collaborate with leadership to shape strategy.
- Work closely with our Underwriting and internal teams to build coordinated, multi-touchpoint plans for key clients.
- Champion new products and contribute your voice to future BD strategy and innovation.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional qualifications such as conveyancing or law are considered a strong asset. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
- 3–5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or property law.
- A strong industry network (law firms, developers, lenders).
- Knowledge of title insurance or conveyancing (full training and support provided).
- A track record of meeting targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Confident presentation and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative mindset, balanced with the ability to work independently day to day.
- Willingness to travel and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills.
