Business Development Manager – Devonvale Bakery (Honiton, Devon)
Location: Flexible, but ideally within commutable distance of our bakery in Devon, EX14 1ST
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience & performance based
Start Date: 1st September 2026, but with flexibility

With exciting plans for innovation, brand development, and new markets, we’re looking for a dynamic and passionate Business Development Manager to join our team.
The Opportunity

You might be:
- A Key Account Executive or Business Development Exec ready to take the next step
- A BDM, Sales Manager, National Account Executive/Manager who has proven direct sales achievements
- Someone who thrives on building connections, and KNOWS HOW TO CLOSE A DEAL!
What You’ll Do
- Find and win new customers across multiple channels (wholesale, retail, foodservice)
- Strengthen and grow existing customer accounts
- Drive brand visibility and marketing activity (including social media and digital content)
- Work closely with our NPD and operations team to help launch new products
- Be the face of Devonvale at industry events and trade shows
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for food and the food industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a "get stuff done" attitude
- Great communicator who builds rapport and trust
- Self-motivated, reliable, and career-committed
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with SME EXPERIENCE
- Experience: with a MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS of business sales exposure - with some experience of selling to key and national accounts in the UK and achieving results!
