An established and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with the Business Development Director, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships and securing strategic projects that align with the company's growth objectives. You will build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities, represent the business within the market, and help drive continued commercial success.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded individual with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the interiors, fit-out and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and CRM management.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, PQQ submissions, tender opportunities and wider business development activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and support business growth.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity through to project delivery.

Requirements
- Proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term client relationships within the construction, interiors, fit-out or related sectors.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and secure profitable opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.
- Confidence engaging with clients, consultants and stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and results driven.
- An established network across the fit-out, interiors and/or construction sectors would be advantageous.
