Regional Sales Manager – Window Ventilation

Location: North & Scotland

Region: GB

Salary: £45,000 + commission, company car, 25 days holiday

We are working with an established manufacturer specialising in ventilation solutions for the window and construction markets, and they are looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to develop relationships and grow sales across Great Britain.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys developing long-term relationships, winning new business and providing customers with genuine technical and commercial support.

The Role

You will take responsibility for developing and managing relationships with window fabricators across your region, identifying new opportunities and helping customers find the right ventilation solutions for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with window fabricators across GB.
  • Growing sales through both existing customers and new business development.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and expanding the customer base.
  • Managing existing accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding customers' requirements and providing tailored product and ventilation solutions.
  • Regular travel throughout your designated region to meet customers, deliver presentations and develop relationships.
  • Building relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors and installers to influence upcoming projects.
  • Attending trade shows, networking events and industry exhibitions to promote the product range and generate new opportunities.

Technical & Product Support

You will become a product specialist, developing a strong understanding of the company's range of window vents, louvres and ventilation products.

You will:

  • Advise customers on the most appropriate products for their projects.
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance where required.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and training to fabricators, installers and specifiers.
  • Understand industry trends, regulations and competitor products.
  • Help customers identify opportunities to improve their own sales and profitability through the solutions available.

Business Development

A key part of the role will be proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.

You will be expected to:

  • Generate new leads and develop them into commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase market share within the window fabrication sector.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new projects and customers.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce products into new applications and markets.
  • Develop long-term relationships that result in repeat and profitable business.

Administration & Reporting

You will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity and opportunities through the company's CRM system, alongside:

  • Providing regular sales forecasts and performance updates.
  • Keeping the CRM and sales pipeline up to date.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly.
  • Supporting customers through delivery and after-sales.
  • Ensuring a high level of communication between customers and internal teams.

About You

We are looking for a commercially driven, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys being out in the field and developing relationships.

You may already have experience selling into the window fabrication, fenestration, construction, building products or ventilation sectors, although candidates from closely related technical sales environments will also be considered.

You will ideally have:

  • A proven track record in B2B sales and account management.
  • Experience developing existing accounts as well as winning new business.
  • The confidence to deal with fabricators, installers, contractors, architects and specifiers.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to understand technical products and explain their benefits commercially.
  • A proactive approach to business development.
  • Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • The willingness to travel extensively across your designated GB region.
  • A self-motivated and organised approach to managing a field-based territory.
