Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic broker relationship manager to oversee a panel of key broker accounts aligned to the National Trading Centre (NTC). This role is pivotal in maximising income and revenue, delivering profitable growth, and strengthening our strategic broker partnerships. You’ll be responsible for managing relationships, implementing joint development plans, and driving performance across your broker panel to meet Gross Written Premium (GWP), profit, and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a panel of 5-7 strategic broker accounts aligned with the National Trading Centre (NTC), ensuring the delivery of Gross Written Premium (GWP), profit, and retention targets.
- Act as the key interface for strategic broker relationships, fostering trust and collaboration to optimise mutual opportunities.
- Deliver the National Trading Centre (NTC) proposition to designated broker accounts, supporting their development plans and strategic growth.
- Conduct regular reviews of broker development plans, including delivering joint development reviews with senior management and regional teams.
- Plan, forecast, and manage the broker panel’s performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate targeted sales campaigns across all broker partners to drive growth and retention.
- Undertake profit reviews with brokers, identifying areas for improvement and leading conversations to optimise profitability and performance.
- Review progress against plans, taking remedial action as needed, and prospect new opportunities to expand the broker panel and market reach.

Work Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous recruitment experience with an understanding of candidate experience.
- Exposure to process mapping, catalogue documents or developing asset libraries would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge and understanding of Application Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Interest and understanding in employee experience and employer brand.
- Experience in business coordination or project support.
- Basic experience of analytics, reporting and data modelling.
- Proven experience working with varied stakeholder types, including external suppliers.
- Highly organised, detail oriented and creative approach to problem solving.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
