Business Development Manager
We’re on the hunt for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team at Stallard Kane. This pivotal role offers the flexibility of being home based with the requirement of regularly travelling to meet with stakeholders across the region. You will be responsible for delivering growth in sales of Stallard Kane's Health & Safety, HR and Compliance services.
Role Responsibilities
- Promote Stallard Kane's range of services to stakeholders in the region.
- Achieve an annual financial growth target, which forms part of the overall company financial budget.
- Support and develop existing relationships to retain existing revenue and increase policy sales.
- Prospecting activities to establish new relationships, leading to new policy sales.
- Managing and handling queries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Attendance, as required, at industry exhibitions, dinners and other corporate events, which could be anywhere in the UK, to increase the profile of the Stallard Kane brand in the market.
- Working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues.
- Keep abreast of industry issues and activity that will have an impact on customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience of developing business within the Health & Safety market.
- Must have a full license and not be restricted from driving.
- A strong technical understanding of the HR/Health & Safety Markets.
- Experience of delivering income targets.
- Experience of supporting proposition development, in respect to products, services and/or client servicing propositions.
- A confident public speaker, excellent presentation skills with an engaging style and confident presenting to audiences of different sizes.
