About the Role
Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider with a turnover north of £100m and one of the strongest customer satisfaction records in the industry. They support over 2,000 customers and 200 channel resellers with Secure Networking, IT Services and Cyber Security solutions, and they're investing further in new business as AI adoption reshapes how their clients work. This is a genuine hunting role, not a farming one, and it comes with real backing: a dedicated SDR team, targeted marketing, and a sales infrastructure built to help you close.
The Role
You'll own new logo acquisition across the 35-350 user SMB and mid-market space, with a particular strength in professional services, accountancy practices, and knowledge-led organisations. You're not being handed a book of accounts to manage. You're building your own pipeline, converting SDR-qualified meetings, and taking opportunities from first conversation through to close. Once a deal is won, you hand it over cleanly during onboarding and move on to the next one.
Expect to spend most of your week creating and progressing opportunities rather than servicing existing relationships. You'll be selling Managed IT, Modern Workplace and Cloud propositions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Copilot readiness, backup, DR and network support, and you'll need to translate that technical detail into commercial outcomes for buyers who range from Managing Partners and CFOs down to IT Managers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll be doing
- Building and working a personal target account list aligned to a clear ICP
- Generating self-sourced pipeline through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals and events, alongside leads passed from the SDR function
- Running structured discovery conversations that uncover pain points, budget, stakeholders and decision criteria
- Using MEDDPICC to qualify and manage larger opportunities
- Keeping Salesforce accurate: value, stage, close date, next steps, key stakeholders
- Protecting margin by qualifying fit and supportability before you propose
- Displacing incumbent MSPs and internal IT setups where there's a genuine reason to switch
- Delivering against a rolling AGP target with honest weekly forecasting
What you'll need
- Proven B2B new business experience in an MSP, managed IT, cloud, Microsoft or cyber security environment
- A track record of opening, progressing and closing new logo deals in the SMB or mid-market space, ideally 35-350 users
- Solid working knowledge of at least one core area: Managed IT, M365, Azure, cloud, backup/DR or Modern Workplace
- The confidence to sell to senior commercial stakeholders and technical buyers in the same week
- Comfort working in a CRM to manage pipeline and forecasting; Salesforce experience is a plus
- MEDDPICC exposure helps but isn't a dealbreaker
- A full UK driving licence, and the willingness to get out and see prospects and customers face to face
