Area Sales Manager | New Business & Business Development

📍 Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester Areas

💰 £35,000 - £38,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £55,000 - £65,000)

The Opportunity

We're looking for a driven, field-based sales professional who genuinely enjoys winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.

You'll be selling a market-leading maintenance and service solution that supports critical capital equipment across:

  • Hospitals & Healthcare Organisations
  • Care Homes
  • Universities & Schools
  • Prisons
  • Hotel Groups
  • Public Sector Organisations

What You'll Be Doing

  • Winning new business across a defined territory
  • Building relationships with key decision makers
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Following up qualified appointments generated internally
  • Self-generating opportunities through networking and prospecting
  • Preparing and presenting commercial proposals
  • Negotiating contracts and closing business
  • Growing and retaining accounts once won
  • Identifying additional revenue opportunities within existing customers
  • Managing your own pipeline, forecasts and territory plan

What We're Looking For

✔ Proven B2B sales experience

✔ Strong new business / hunter mentality

✔ Experience managing a field-based territory

✔ Excellent relationship building and communication skills

✔ Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders and decision makers

✔ Strong negotiation and closing ability

✔ Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously

✔ Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets
