Department: Sales

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Remote, UK

Reporting To: SVP Strategic Growth

Description

At Veriforce, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help bring workers home safe from high-hazard jobs. We deliver supply chain risk management technology and expert services that reduce risk, improve ESG performance, and protect workers, worksites, and businesses. We operate globally across industries including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Facilities Management, Housing, Construction, Mining, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Telecom.

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth — winning new enterprise clients and taking our UK sales success to the next level.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and manage a pipeline. We’re looking for a high-performing, commercially sharp new business professional who loves opening doors, creating opportunities and winning complex, high-value deals.

You’ll own the full 360° sales cycle, targeting enterprise clients across sectors including construction, manufacturing, the public sector, and retail. From first outreach to signed contract, you’ll take the lead — influencing senior decision-makers, building momentum, and turning opportunities into wins throughout a complex sales cycle.

You’ll uncover real business challenges, build trusted relationships and position our solutions with impact. Expect a fast-paced mix of prospecting, client meetings, demos, commercial conversations, and negotiations — with plenty of opportunity to make your mark. You’ll also build your profile in the markets you own, getting out into the industry, growing your network, and creating opportunities through events, roundtables, webinars, and proactive outreach.

If you want bigger opportunities, bigger challenges, and the chance to make a bigger impact, this is your opportunity to own your success, win more, and help shape what comes next.

This role will require travel between our offices in Cardiff and London as required, as well as travel to client sites.

What that means day to day

  • You’ll bring exceptional sales acumen, commercial instinct, and a proven ability to create and win new business.
  • But success at Veriforce is about more than just hitting the number.
  • You’ll also demonstrate the core behaviours that set our best people apart: progressing with pace, owning the outcome, working stronger together, bringing the energy, and continually raising the bar.
  • You’ll combine ambition with accountability, resilience with collaboration, and a relentless focus on delivering results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
