Position: Business Development Manager - CCTV, Access Control & Telecoms

Rate/Salary: £32,000-£34,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Company Car or Car Allowance

Job Description

Business Development Manager - CCTV, Access Control & Telecoms

Typically, this person will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships and managing the full sales cycle for CCTV, Access Control, Telecoms and Networking solutions across the South Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across commercial and premium residential markets.
  • Prospect, qualify and develop new sales leads.
  • Attend customer meetings and carry out site surveys to understand client requirements.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and tailored proposals.
  • Present CCTV, Access Control, Wi-Fi and Telecoms solutions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using the company CRM system while working closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Field Sales or Account Management.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Networking, Wi-Fi or VoIP systems.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience within the Fire & Security or Telecoms sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
