Business Development Manager

I'm working with a highly regarded international law firm that is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager into its successful Disputes practice.

This is a brilliant opportunity for either an ambitious Senior BDE looking to take the next step into a manager-level role, or an existing BD Manager seeking broader strategic exposure within a high-performing and well-invested team.

One of the most attractive aspects of this opportunity is that the firm is open on practice area background. Whilst disputes experience would be welcomed, it is by no means essential, making this an excellent transition role for someone looking to move into a new area of law while continuing to build their strategic BD skillset.

Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping growth plans, driving client development initiatives and delivering impactful marketing and business development activity across a practice that is a core strategic focus for the firm.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
