Sales / Business Development Manager | Remote (UK) | Permanent, in-house | £35,000 – £45,000 base + uncapped commission | OTE £50,000 – £65,000+
The enquiries are already coming in. We need someone to convert them — and then go and find more.
ASWATAX is a fast-growing, specialist UK tax advisory firm. We provide bespoke tax advice to business owners, HNW and UHNW individuals, property developers and landlords, and we work closely with accountancy firms, law firms, wealth managers and financial planners.
We have a live flow of inbound leads, an existing client base that continues to trust us, and a back catalogue of past enquiries nobody has had time to work properly. Our problem isn't demand — it's capacity to service that demand quickly and brilliantly.
The Owner built this firm taking every one of these calls himself. He now needs someone who can match that, and eventually beat it.
What you'll actually be doing
- You'll be the first voice a prospective client hears. You'll get on the phone fast, run a proper discovery call, understand what the client needs, and move them decisively to the next step — booking a paid consultation, quoting a fee on the call, or handing a scoped matter to our technical team.
- You'll look after those clients properly. Proactive, responsive, five-star. The kind of service people tell their accountant about.
- And when the diary is quiet, you'll go and fill it. Building relationships with accountants and solicitors. Reconnecting with lapsed clients. Working our historic enquiry list. Arranging presentations and getting in front of people.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
How the money works
Base salary plus uncapped commission, deliberately weighted towards new business you generate yourself — up to 12.5% of first-year fees on clients you bring in through your own network, referrals and outreach. Plus a quarterly bonus tied to client service and responsiveness.
We've structured it this way on purpose. Handling our inbound enquiries brilliantly is the job. Building your own pipeline on top of it is where you earn properly — and there's no ceiling on it.
What we're looking for
- A proven track record converting enquiries into paying work
- A background in finance, accountancy, professional services or financial services — enough credibility to talk to a business owner about their affairs
- Confidence running a discovery call and closing on a clear next step
- Comfort talking about money: quoting fees, handling objections, asking for the business
- Serious organisation and CRM discipline
- Genuine self-direction. You'll have real autonomy — we need someone who runs with it rather than waiting to be told
- Someone looking for a long-term home, not a short-term contract

Highly preferred: a tax background. Practice experience, or ATT/CTA qualified or part-qualified. The more you understand what we do, the faster you'll convert.
Also useful: experience selling professional services rather than products, an existing network among accountants or solicitors, experience working a dormant lead list, CRM experience, and confidence presenting.
Where this goes
Permanent, in-house, and a foundational hire — not a contract and not a stopgap. As we grow, this role grows: ownership of the commercial function and building a team beneath you.
We'd far rather invest in someone for the next five years than fill a seat for twelve months.
How to apply
Send your CV and a short cover letter to omar@aswatax.co.uk.
